Answer:
The best way to handle this is by using embedded SQL to load your subfile. When someone types search criteria in on the screen, you can rebuild your SQL statement with a where clause searching for the criteria entered on the screen.

Question:
Ravi Srinivas Ganti has written a basic cursor program in SQLRPGLE. The PF has records but strangely the FETCH is not fetching the records. The idea of writing this program is to make it a stored procedure so that the RPG call from Java would execute it and get the output displayed on a browser.
Answer:
Typically, this comes from the SQL statement not having the correct syntax. Put in debug and take a look at the generated SQL statement to see if it correct. More than likely, something is misaligned. Please post your code and I would be glad to take a look.

We were back on the road again this week, spending a day in Providence, Rhode Island with the American Ring Company, Inc. As a company that has traditionally spent most of our time in the southeast, its always a tremendous experience to be able to visit new areas and new industries.
Soon we are hoping to offer a new ERP experience that will change the way small businesses are able to interact with and manage their products and services within their business, as well as track their clients and inventory with advanced graphical reporting beyond what large scale ERP packages such as JD Edwards and HarrisData generally offer. Barstools Delivered was a concept we created for Boyles Furniture, who was looking for a concept e-commerce website to distribute their high-end line of bar stools. Unfortunately, the project has likely become a victim of the slow economy as furniture manufacturers have been hit especially hard.
